yeah i'd be shocked if garompon didn't have a big hand there

ah, i love how everyone thinks flat calling their big hands is the good tricky way to play nowadays

Yeah and I still find ways to complete dyck up hands postflop when the effective stacks are like this going into the hand. I misinterpret those flat calls like it's my job sometimes.

It's really a matter of knowing your opponents. What kind of hands is he likely to call with there preflop and what will he do with them against a bet. There's really no simple general answer, but things like flop texture and stack sizes are very important for making educated guesses when you don't know that much about your opponents specific tendencies.

QFT.
Also Fsoyars, bet call that flop. Secondly that isn't a type of hand since you check behind. I check behind a lot more than I c/f.

You can C bet on a board that is unlikely to have hit the opponent based on pre-flop action. However, if you do this everytime people will catch on and will probably just re-raise you.

It's also not likely to have improved me and villain's not going to fold a pair to one barrel. If I c-bet 1/4 of my stack is in the middle and I'm OOP left check-calling if I hit or check-folding if I miss.
