I never thought about this, but you're absolutely right.

Now I kind of like the way you played it. The 1/2PSB on the turn is still a bit worrisome, especially since you have to call the river if you call the turn. You should definitely make a note that he puts thought into his bluff-sizing.

Fold the river. Despite the fact that your opponent is tilting, you beat nothing but air and other overpairs, which I don't see this guy having. 33, 88, and 55 are all there.

This factored into my call as well, I am SURE he would pop a set on the flop and i think 55 he does the same, the only real thing im worried about here is 88 or 33
