This doesn't make sense. We would be sacrificing a lot of value in a 4-5 handed pot to possibly clean up some A outs and to "define" our hand.

In a 2-3 handed pot this is the play; 4-5 handed, isolating the aggresser to make the hand "easier" to play is shallow thinking.

I think raising the flop is a no-brainer. You probably win this pot 35% of the time and its only costing you 20-25%, depending on the number of callers.
