Agree on everything but bet/folding the turn. He's getting almost 4 to 1 to call the raise. Why not see what develops on the river?

Well, I was kind of speaking in regards to my theoretical line, but I guess it still applies to this hand, even if we are getting 4:1 odds.

Unless a 9 or 5 comes on the river, it's going c/f. Hero is almost always crushed here

If I bet flop, the whole dynamics of the hand change. I don't think any amounts after that can be assumed.

As played, my turn shove is pretty ugly. Everyone we want to call folds, everyone we want to fold calls. It doesn't get much grosser than that.

I put him on QT or K9.

But I have to give credit to OP,

"I have been playing lagastic"
"Villain has been long enough at the table to know this"

combined with

"Is this shove ok?"

is gold.

I dunno, maybe a leak on my part but I'm always a little skeptical of these bs minraises.

In my experiences, most players min-raise with a narrow range of hands, most of them weak, occasionally very strong.

c/r the flop sucks, just lead. as played fold the turn. you're repping mad strength and if you get called you're beaten, always.

This isn't a minraise, not that it really matters.

Villain is clearly raising for value. He knows you have a hand, and as snafu has already stated, alot of people will call here just because.
