in a flush draw on the flop you should usually bet for value anyway, no?

iirc Bill has briefly alluded to pre-river preemptive betting in the past, and like river preemption he talked about doing it w/ marginal and strong hands alike. He didn't mention draws, but I would think some would need to be included to prevent exploitation on subsequent streets where draws come in.

They didn't get into this in the book however, so I dunno. Jerr, comments?

fwiw, Gus seems to employ this type of play quite a bit.
