Re: 20/40 NL HU check or bet
seems like a crai is way better against this opponent than betting the turn again. also, i dont like just calling turn. i think there are some similar instances where u could, but this board texture/stack size combo isnt one of them.
give me 7k starting stacks and we can start talking c/cing turn and then chking most rivers. |

[/ QUOTE ] i agree with this. given stack sizesot size on river i dont think he's going to be bluffing this river often enough (esp considering he will be pot stuck w/ a bunch of hands on the turn that you are ahead of) for c/c and c/c river to be better than crai turn. |

Re: 20/40 NL HU check or bet
as it turned out I check raised all in and he had 64.
the only reason to check call would be if we knew he would almost never bluff the river or if we knew that he almost always would. and I had no clue vs this player. |

Re: 20/40 NL HU check or bet
to expand - you think he bets 64 on an offsuit 3 turn? never. what is relevant is how often p2k has been repopping preflop, how the play has gone in pots p2k has repopped, and as a result, what this guy's range is for betting the turn (and not his preflop range)
