Congrats. Isn't it awesome? Enjoy it while it lasts; soon enough you'll be craving bigger and bigger stakes, bigger and bigger wins, and it'll never be enough...
(I have such a love-hate relationship with tournament poker.)

Congrats...

I'll give you a bit of advice that works for me, but feel free to ignore it... don't move to higher buy-in tourneys quite yet... as a general rule, after a big tourney win, I cash out around 70-75% of my winnings and place it in a non-poker account (i.e. savings or IRA).. i've found that this allows you to grow your BR while keeping a big chunk of change as a nest egg, etc...

so with3.5K... cash out 2.7K and keep it in a nice safe interest bearing account... put the remaining $800 in your bankroll and keep rolling where you're at... of course, if you're on a short bankroll youy
