Well, clearly it never happens because you've never seen it.

Europeans had never seen a black swan prior to colonizing Australia. Guess what? They exist.

I'm not saying that it could never happen but I believe he almost never just calls AA PF here but I agree that his line post flop is the way I've seen fish play AA.

it's possible that he can have AA, but i don't see any reason to make it more than a blip in his range.

i think folding the flop is bad. i'd much rather shove.

i'd call river.

Imrahil,

"I agree that his line post flop is the way I've seen fish play AA."

There's a fine line between genius and idiocy.

Not saying he plays it bad but just saying I've seen that line before.

What do people think of my river bet? Does it look blocking or strong? If I'm bet-folding should I bet more? If so then my odds are even sicker. Letting the hand go check-check on the turn and then check-check on the river just seems really weak.

To the people who are saying to fold the flop, that was the one part of the hand where I thought my decision was the easiest.

Mikey, could you expand a little more on why you think this is AA instead of something like TT or KJ?

i don't think he shows up with AA too much. i think you'll see KJ, J9, and weird stuff like AT.

i'd check this river pretty often against some villains, but clearly betting is fine.
