[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] It's tied to your gamertag [/ QUOTE ] never had a gamertag with the old xbox.... can I use the same one on my new box? [/ QUOTE ] thanks you answered my question even though I phrased it horribly Kind of unclear what you mean, but you can transfer your gamertag from an original XBox to a 360 - or from one 360 to another. [ QUOTE ] This is a dumb question, but I am considering getting one. Can you delete and redownload the arcade games you paid for? On the Wii you only pay once and can delete and redownload for free if you need the space. I would probably only get a few arcade games and then some demos, so I think the premium may be ok for me. The extra $100 for the elite wouldn't bankrupt me, but it'd be nice to save it since I'll already have to buy the wireless adapter and extra controller. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, pay once and it's yours to delete and redownload. [/ QUOTE ] The arcade games are fairly small, so you don't really get much benefit from deleting them. Demos are huge though, so yeah, you'll be deleting those a lot. |

Few more questions.
1) How often are demos put out? 2) Is it for just about every game? 3) How long do they stay available? 4) I see some posts about people leaving their 360 on overnight to download the demos, how long does it take? thanks |

Usually new demos get released every week or two, and it's up to the developers to make the demo. Most games have them, but there are a few that don't have a demo. I think demos stay up forever except in unique cases like the Halo 3 beta. I can usually download 1 gig demos in 10-20 minutes, so I'd say it's definately a function of your ISP and not Live, it's plenty fast.
