[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] I didnt know people actually liked the taste of beer. [/ QUOTE ] What the hell? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah this pretty much blew my mind too. ED, I've never drank an NA beer in my life so I'm no help here. [/ QUOTE ] For a second there I thought you meant North American and I thought you were a huge beer snob. I was at Trader Joe's yesterday and the old guy in front of me bought 3 sixers of some non-alcoholic beer (Clausthaler or something like that). First thought: the dude's a former alcoholic. I like the taste of beer, but every near beer I've had sucks. If there's a tasty near beer out there, I'd actually give it a shot. |

Re: Non alcoholic beer
I cannot imagine willingly drinking beer without the payoff of knowing I will be drunk soon.

Re: Non alcoholic beer
The top low alcohol beers at RateBeer.com are here:
Top 25 Low Alcohol Beers Some of them actually rate pretty high, but it looks like most of the Top 25 is going to be tough to find as they appear to be mostly Swedish. But you might be able to find something in there, or use the site to find the best of what's available in your area. I think the site also has a feature for finding where any beer is sold, so that might help as well. |

Re: Non alcoholic beer
edfurlong,
When I use to bartend many people would specifically ask for Buckler, which is made by Heineken, iirc. I have never tried it but many said it was their favorite na beer. Also, shipping him 4 different types of 6-packs might be a good idea. That way he might find a new favorite. |
