$84/hour before tonite. Got stacked twice; called once on a bluff and sucked out on. Still, I think I'm still about $60/hour so variance and all that $hit.

fish, since you seem to play at Derby Lane a lot, do you know off hand when they're starting the satellites for the 500/500 tourney?

[/ QUOTE ]

They have started......believe they are doing 1-2 a day.

Not a satelite player myself and thus put my $50 deposit down for the September 30th tourney. There are less than 200 seats available as of last evening as the tourney is limited to 500 and 100+ are coming from the jackpot winners and satelite winners..........plus they have had sponsors gobble up 100+ allready. If one is planning to play in this tourney with $250,000 purse, they should enter this week and submit their $50 deposit. If you hit a jackpot high hand, your deposit is refundable.

I'm +288 in four sessions (~18 hrs total). Fishhead, I sat on your left one afternoon for a few hours. You were winning that day as I recall.
Edit: At Derby Lane.

Good to hear from you sir..........hope you continue to do well. Hopefully meet up with you again. Think my last winning session at Derby was the day I met you.

rumors are flying that the Indians will introduce Class III gaming (blackjack, roulette, craps, etc.) soon, along with the non-Indians expanding poker hours to 16 instead of 12. There was also a rumor of Tampa Hard Rock expanding its NL spreads and limits this week.

[/ QUOTE ]

Those rumors have been going around for at least 2 years that I know of.

They have, but they are now very close to becoming reality. The federal government gave Crist's office 60 days (at the end of June) to work out a deal with the Seminoles or they said they would decide the case. The Seminoles sued the state to allow Class III gaming once Broward county started allowing Class III slot machines in the horse tracks.

The Seminoles told the Governor's office that if they work out a deal to allow all Class III gaming (Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Full Poker, Slots, etc.) then the state could share in the revenue. If the state doesn't reach a deal with them, they will most likely get Class III slots at a minimum with full Class III gaming being a possibility.

Hopefully Crist sees that this would be a great source of additional revenue for a state with no state income tax.

Been doing good playing a couple afternoons each week at Pompano and late nights at Coco Mojo where the room is not the best but the $ is very nice. Don't have the bankroll yet for 2/5 but soon I will, I believe the game is very beatable after watching it quite a bit. Build the stack then play some poker. My stats over last 76 hours +965 mostly 4-5 hour sessions

Was winning after 7/1, losing after 7/2, finally climbed back into positive territory on 7/31. Nothing like a healthy upswing to end the month. This is after 32 hrs of play.
