Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas
I would turn this thread on it's head and ask what is the worst restaurant in vegas, but I don't think we have enough time to go through all the posts that would be submitted. :-)

Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas
I don't know about "best in Vegas", but the best I have had (don't usually do Italian in Vegas) is probably Mimmo Ferraro's, a ways west of the strip on Flamingo. I had a very nice veal osso bucco there, and it was a nice, cozy environment.

Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas
Bautistas is not good. Do not eat there. Bautistas is on par with Buca Di Beppo, both of which make Olive Garden seem gourmet.
BTW if you do not want to break the bank, and think Olive Garden is teh nuts as far as Italian food goes, there is a chain called Fellinis in Strat and I think Texas Station that is ok. Also BTW, my brothers father in law owns a well reviewed Italian restaurant in Santa Monica and he recommended a place in the Venetian. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was called. |

Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas
It's a bit off the strip, but Rosemary's is fantastic. I found out about it from chowhound.com a message board dedicated to good eats.
http://www.rosemarysrestaurant.com/ Plus, on Sunday nights they had 1/2 price bottles of wine |

Roccos on Rainbow/Charleston. More of a takeout/deli with a couple of tables.

Re: Best Italian Food in Vegas
ditto Ferraro's..many really good dinners there over the years, Osso Buco A+ & better than at the original Circo (when Wynn owned the B) imho; also not bad, Antonios at Rio, and, if you have never been, Piero's just once
