It's OK. Not as good as the Dawn of the Dead remake from a few years ago, but if you dig zombies it's definitely worth checking out.

this was done in the new dawn of the dead, the guy kept shooting peopel in the head but all of america was outside the store = dead. [/ QUOTE ] Which is why you get out of the city. If you are stuck in the city, you better have a way to get to a supermarket from your fortress. Also, you can literally make a wall of Zombies w/ your .22. I also know how to weld so reinforcing a truck wouldn't be hard. A .22 and a 5.56mm assault rifle are your best friends here. In bloomington, there is a mall with a Sears (power tools, generators, plow, etc), super Kmart (food), and Dicks sports (guns). A place like that would be perfect IMO. |

It would depend on how widespread the infection is. If no more than 90% of the population were affected I think there'd be a much better chance than if 99% were affected. [/ QUOTE ] the situation i'm describing is like you wake up that morning, turn on the news, and they say there are zombies on the streets, and that it is now every man for himself. they tell you if you can get to an army base they will help you as much as they can, but they will turn people away. And even then the army base still might be taken over. |

I have a pantry full of canned food, a PUR scout, and a 1,000 round case of ammo for my .308 sniper rifle. .22 bullets are $10 for a 500 round box and bounce around inside the skull. Thompson Center .22's are very accurate. I'd be fine. [/ QUOTE ] prehaps in this situation yes, but in every day to day [censored] when the [censored] do u need 1000 rounds for a sniper rifle?!?! |

A .22 and a 5.56m assault rifle are your best friends here. [/ QUOTE ] Im betting some light body armor is very important too. In the movies, random main characters get picked off because a zombie always comes out of nowhere in a seemingly safe place, and they get bit in the forearm or the ankle. You wouldnt worry about running past a couple of zombies or doing some hand to hand against a zombie or two with some protection. |

seriously Ive always wondered this. Trying to think realisitcally what Id do. Anyway came across this book, that actually takes itself seriously. Entertaining read because its a pretty logical guide to what to do if Zombies ever happened.
