Re: More WSOP ME impossible spots. QQ day 2.
I find an excuse to call here. God I hate [censored] nits.
I always expect scared players to re-raise KK/AA pre-flop, especially out of position in a multi-way pot. He may not read as much strength into the situation as you do if he doesn't recognize how strong EP is likely to be and thus how strong you need to be to call him. I lost track of your pot odds, but it sounds like you are getting 2:1 or so? Meh, everyone else got the KK part right, so nice fold. God these [censored] tilt me. |

Results : I stand up, curse in hebrew and throw my cards in disgust face up. He shows KK. I tilt my way back to the hotel room talking to friends on the phone how this is the worst [censored] tournament I've ever played. Turned out alright in the end tho. Man, that hand sucked. [/ QUOTE ] Wait, you called or folded? |

I just see no reason why someone would fold TPTK HU, and bet into a huge pot with 2 players showing a whole lot of strength without at least KK. If he is really capable of making that play, good for him. You gotta fold here. [/ QUOTE ] |

Annoying hand, but not an impossible spot IMO, it's an irritating but clear fold. NH.

Re: More WSOP ME impossible spots. QQ day 2.
I just kept grinding a decent stack, get into spots where I have to make big (for an online donk) laydowns. Grind back up, get a big hand, forced to lay it down. So on and on.
I went to the last break of the 2nd day with 260k, ended the final level with 85k. I was furious. Not sure at who or what. It was my first long live tournament, and it was def not one that ran smoothly. I hope i'll get better at handling that. |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm sure it is just different personality types, but I get way more pissed by a hand like this, than a bad beat. But if you mean the part where he is disgusted about his play, I agree you played the hand as well as I could imagine. On a side note, I need to learn a different language. I'll bet cursing in Hebrew is very therapeutic. |
