I continue to feel that most of these posts are a way for Fishead to hype "IOWA FARMLAND". If I honestly thought the market was due for a 5-10% correction over the next 6 months, why not short the market and yield yourself a great return.

I am bearish on the stock market too.

Corporate bond defaults and downgrades (difficulty with new issues), mortgage credit risks, etc.

Also, i llustrated by the drop in yield on the 10 year treasury ^TNX, that I suggested about 1-2 months ago (can't find the post here).

I sold every stock/fund I have (including my gold fund because of its high correlation with the ^NDX) except for my emerging markets fund. I am not bullish on it, but it is good to have a little exposure to the market 3%, and there is also a fee for trading in and out of emerging markets.

Cmon, be serious.

I don't believe the market is going down 5-10% from this point in time till years end.

I do however believe that it will not top 14,000 by years end, and could certainly finish down 1-5% from this point on till the end of the year.............my reason for being very lightly involved in the market. Rather than shorting stocks, I just like to move my money to other areas of investment.

JIM CRAMER has projected/predicted a figure of 14,548 by years end........

The DJIA is 30 stocks and does not represent the entire market.

This thread is really stupid. Fishhead, please start posting more intelligent posts with some basis for your "the End is Near" nonsense or ill have to lock them all.
