not that this has anything to do with the Price is right, but Drew Carrey tips a 100 dollars whenever he goes out to eat. I used to work at the Venitian and he would come in the grand lux everyday for lunch when he was there for a week and leave a $100 dollar tip everytime and the bill would only be around 30 bucks

They should just show a random rerun everyday ala the Peanuts comic strip.

The only problem is that it doesn't really have re-run value. How the hell am I suppose to know what a blender cost in 1971?

Man between my Price is Right posting and Harry Potter posting I'm coming across as a real loser.

There's a Trivial Pursuit question that asks what Country had to cancel their version of Price is Right because of inflation.

I think the answer was Brazil.

I think DC will be a fine host. I thought George Hamilton (who was apparently a front-runner for quite a while) looked the role better, but most of America doesn't know him.

Rosey never had a shot, because she is so love/hate. They didn't want to make a host out of somebody that half (or more) of America hates and would never give a shot.

Carey's got some following. Like any star, he has people that don't like him. Most of those that don't like him don't really hate him either. They'll at least tune in and give it a shot.

No one, obv, can replace Bob Barker. As long as DC doesn't totally blow for his first few weeks, he'll be fine.

If a man came and killed my whole family, and they tracked him down and captured him, then put him next to Drew Carey and gave me a gun with one bullet I'd probably shoot Drew Carey.

...Carey will be fine as long as he doesnt try and turn it into all about him....which goes the same for whomever they would have selected...

...I just hope the man works on his putting

it didn't really matter who they got. show is going to be canceled in 2-3 years due to ratings. Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek could host together, and the old ladies at home wouldn't watch any more once bob barker is gone. He's been there forever, and cannot be replaced.

I could be terribly wrong though.
