Dan. At his peak, Dan was a better NLHE tourney player than Padraig is a golfer.

Padraig is more NOW though.

According to wiki, they are cousins.

possibly second cousins, or something like that which would explain the generation gap. i know that in my family (irish catholic ldo) everyone distant is just referred to as a cousin, even if they're second+ cousins, or even if they're not actually related. i'm not sure if this is an irish thing or if it's just my family.

or first cousins once removed... lol. once removed is best way to explain the generation gap.

for what it's worth, i have a first cousin once removed who is 54 years older than i am.

Guys, it's not that hard for cousins to be like 35+ years apart.

A baby is born in 2007.
That baby's mom was the youngest child, and was born in, say, 1969. She has a sister (baby's aunt) who was the oldest sibling, born in 1954.
That lady had her first child (baby's first cousin) in 1974 at age 20.

Cousins (2007 & 1974) are 33 years apart.

Padraig (35) and Dan (61) are 25 years apart. Very rare, but not unfathomable. Stop the madness!

The answer is Dan. 50 years from now poker players will remember Dan Harrington much better than golf fans will remember Padraig
