This is very wrong.

Ummm...why? Calling is obviously marginal, but how is it "very wrong" against what looks like a total donk.

The reasoning is bad because QJo isn't really a hand with great implied odds. The preflop call is bad because vs what a 11% pfr is raising from UTG our equity sucks. A 40/11 isn't usually a stack-off-machine either.

To all the callers pre flop: Try to figure out the range a player who raises 11% of his hands is UTG and see how QJ off suit plays vs that.

I'd call with QJs but fold QJo and focus my attn on another hand somewhere else.

Sure, he'll probably stack off with AA/KK on a QJx-board, but that's not quite what I ment with a stack-off-machine. Assuming that a 40/11 is a spewbot is just silly and you won't hit a great flop with QJo even close to often enough to call here. Our preflop equity is probably somewhere around 32%, calling preflop is not close.

my note on him is he overplays top pair no kicker too much.

Playing 150 deep in position against a 40/11 donk that over-values one pair hands is a dream come true. Just because our equity is behind his UTG opening range doesn't mean we can't profitably play this hand post-flop.

Folding here is perfectly acceptable, and the decision to call is more of a style thing for me. I probably cold-call from the button a lot more than most, and it fits into my game just fine.
