I think you should throw a couple random junk hands and suited connecters into his range. maybe 45s, 67s and some crap like J8.

This depends so much on how the three betting game has been going. If this is the first time youve three-bet, I'd let it go. If 3-betting is a regular occurance and more common than just calling raises at this point, I'd call.

I think this is a slightly +EV spot. (More EV if he didn't say gamble, but even if it's a legit tell I think you have +EV vs the hands he is pushing for value.)

However, if you would rather wait for a better spot, I'm not going to argue with you.

thought about it some more and looked at those stove calcs and the above is obviously not true, but given the chance that he's just being random I think overall it's +EV.

Agreed, and I wasn't interested in waiting for a better spot. In fact, I'd rather gamble early and try to get him tilting.
