"In addition we plan to introduce a visual recognition for Supernova players by special graphics in their PokerStars icon."

[/ QUOTE ]

Where did this come from? Why would they do that?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think they said this at the beginning of the year perhaps and many 2+2'ers quickly responded with a good old, "WTF?"

Scottyy and the rest of Stars are listening and obviously they haven't implemented this yet.
My hunch is if they do something like this they would make it voluntary to have some special icon that tells everyone that you are SN or SNE.

Regarding hitting plat then taking a trip somewhere:
15k-ish VPP month for a "full-time player" is really low.
Unless you are living at your parents or something and have practically no expenses.
Debateable whether 4k-ish/week should even be called "full-time."

MicroBob,

My expenses have been pretty low this year, i'm actually in sweden right now playing baseball for 6 months and my apartment and bills are taken care of.

While at home in Vegas however, i spend alot more time on the tables between live and online. I've only been exclusively on stars since early december 2006.

What's the baseball scene like in Sweden these days?
Any chance a guy named Jim Stoeckel is a coach somewhere over there?
(I used to do play-by-play radio in minor-league baseball. Stoeckel is a former international scout who has coached in about a zillion different countries I think).

12 table the NL 200's and 100's cash games, 6 max and full ring.
I've been playing poker full time for over 3 years now.

[/ QUOTE ]

12-tabling like that as a full-time player and you are ABOUT to reach SN status?

I really hope 100% of your play is at Stars.
You should have hit SuperNova a long time ago unless you're playing 6 hours a week or something.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nah, I just play til i hit plat every month and then i usually take a trip somewhere.

[/ QUOTE ]

So this takes you what... 3-4 days?
