Both are bluff lines here. One is much more expensive then the other. Both will work an equal % of the time I feel given that villian either folds out his Ace, or doesn't. Your way cost more but gains more when it works. I'm not into that high variance bluff in this spot since he often does have an Ace and it is unpredictable whether you get him off it or not. Would rather take a shot on flop and shut down unimproved for the rest of the way.
