Great stuff but after substantial research I found out that requests must be placed two days in advance.

err? maybe that's just if you want to reserve online? when I was there you could just walk into their store in the terminal and pick up movies and/or players.

I opened this thread thinking that it would be a question asking why they say you can't store your laptop in the pouch in the seat in front of you.

well why is it?

eviljeff,

I have NO problem trying this. Phoenix is a HUGE airport from which I will be flying from and to in a week's time. If I can get a less bulky, annoying solution I'm all for it, hence this thread and sincere thanks for your responses. I just didn't want to watch the in-house movie or listen to some lame drivel when I could immerse myself in something particularly interesting. Thanks again for the feedback.

Yeah I realize this but I never heard this until the last 2 times I've flown.

Open DVD Shrink

Click Open Disc

Go to the drive you inserted the DVD in

Once that's done, click backup.

It will rip to your HD.

You're done. Watch the movie.

Vyse, eddie,

[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (I even typed those out instead of just clicking)

Knowing this gives me an option to rent them in the morning from Blockbuster, rip them, and then watch them on the plane without restorting to the bulky-ass docking station.

do you think the terrorists would have any qualms about using the seat pockets against us? we have to be vigilant and constantly update our procedures.

Phoenix has a terrific system in place for their announcements. I wonder how much they paid Stephen Hawking to record messages for their loudspeaker?
