i really don't like this play without the A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in doug's hand. even not knowing this is bax, this river sucks to 3 barrel without eliminating the possibility of nut flush draw from bax's hand range

OK, it seems that everyone agrees that Doug went a little cookoo on the river. Let's talk about some of the other streets.

Preflop: Even if the table is not willing to get involved with you, I just can't see raising A10o UTG to be profitable. You are raising with a bad ace OOP, and I don't think your "superior postflop ability" (MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA) can make up for it.

Turn: The pot is around 7K. Betting 4K just seems bad here. I mean, you are trying to rep a big hand, like AA, KK, AQ, etc..., so why are you letting draws get there for fairly cheap. Bet 6K or 7K to get draws to fold.

Why do ppl say "you aren't representing anything" when you clearly are?

I don't like the line here at all.. reason being, if you had qqq, u'd prolly lead the flop and check/raise the turn, so he isn't going to put you on that... second, the board is far too scary for you to be shoving aa/kk so he isn't going to put you on that. i think it looks like a bluff far too often
