Default Re: KK gets stranded in wheeltown - 25/50

wtf he is not repping a flop overpair at all??
77+ 90%+ 3-bets preflop.

He is repping a pair and a draw that just got there, or a hand that was better than yours on the flop. If he's just going mental, this is the perfect card to fold out 88 and represent a straight.
Sometimes people get really agressive on this flop with just a low pair, because they think you have an ace and are trying to take a free card with good equity.
So if he does have a pair like Q5s or 77 , he may fold to your turn bet.

I think your behind right now wayyy more than your ahead.

Plus, if he doesnt have the straight, by folding to the turn check-raise you give up your 2 outs to win and 4 outs to chop... As well as leave yourself susceptive to tilty bluff raises.

If you were ahead more than you were behind here, and you could be sure he would never check raise bluff, would be the only reason id want to bet/bet here.. Had he 3-bet preflop, this would be the line I took.

except for pf?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I guess I should actually start reading the hh hand from start to finish, for some reason I thought pf was capped.

Anyway, this makes his hand more of a mystery. All that tells me is don't fold.

I don't mind chking behind, nor do I mind bet calling down

I call bs.

as for that hand, I like it but probably don't fold to a river c/r.

[/ QUOTE ]

o rly? you don't think ILP is the 67/3/.8 guy that's been pwning me so hard for the last week?

KANGXI is actually up more versus me than any other single opponent at 25/50 in the hands I have and has taken 66 pots off me.

Why let him fold? I agree that he's got a pair+draw more often than he's got a wheel but that doesn't mean he's going to be nice and cc our turn bet. This type of opponent is definatly capable of semibluffing on a c/r and I agree w/others that want to remove any line that includes folding. If you pay 3 bets to see showdown, I think you lose more often than you win so I'd check behind and call a river bet, then make a note.
