The idea is something along thes lines:

1. OP feels terrible outrage at the idea of live and let live (because that's not how he was brought up, so he feels resentment). 2. Aggrevate people who bring up these feelings in him: be passive aggressive, try to get under people's skin, etc. 3. People get aggrevated and visibly upset 4. OP now has evidence that the people with these ideas are angry people and therefore don't need to be taken seriously.


It's a way of deelings with emotions.

So try to understand what the point of his ways are. They are designed to be infuriating, they are designed to outrage. Peoples words are going to be just like they feel at that moment.

I don't want him banned. If I could have my magic wish though I would like people who interact with him here to not allow him to set the frame for the discussions you engage in with him. It seems like he is always trying to suck others into his frame and I would enjoy reading the interactions more if people didn't go along with that and instead reframed the issue while responding. Jogger likes to duck and dodge unless he gets to frame the debate.

The trails comment is lol. Where is the cutoff? If I spend an hour building a decorative rock pile on a piece of land, does that land become mine? How far in a radius from the rock pile?

If I bulldoze a forest, but don't do anything else, does the land become mine? If my ancestors created a trail on a piece of land 50 years ago, is that land still mine? How about 5 years ago?

The idea that land is owned once "improved" (where improved means improved in the Western sense) is fraught with uncertainty and imprecision if you scratch underneath the surface. Yet ACists do a poor job answering these questions, while attacking the questioner's personality (see Borodog in this thread).

Borodog has also referred to himself an ass hole in this forum. I don't see what the big deal of using the word douchbaggery is, in particual by someone who has contributed significant content.
