I opted to check, and I'm still torn on it. I tend to play a bit passive in these spots when I'm deepish, particularly now when I'm just getting used to the money at $400nl again. I just didn't feel comfortable betting the turn here this deep.

He checked behind, and the river was the 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

I bet $214, he shoves for about $310 more. Hero pukes and .. ?

I think the river is a fold. The only thing you beat is a bluff and is line looks fishy so I don't think he'd usually be bluffing here.

Now that I think about it, given that you checked the turn, I think it's a pretty sweet spot for him to bluff-push. You can't call that push given how it played, unless you have a solid read on his bluff frequency.

Bet $220 on the turn. Check-call non-diamond rivers.

As played on the river, talk yourself into calling because you think he could have KJ. See flush then promise yourself you'll fold next time.

Bluff push would be sick here. We're getting 3.3:1.

i don't see how you fold if he hit getting 3 to 1, sometimes you get unlucky
