Just a forward before Seattle fans flame me. I was born in portland and rooted for them as a kid, but when I moved to Seattle I started rooting for the Sonics. But, I am back in P-Town and we have Oden, Roy, Aldridge, and Sergio HOLLA.

[/ QUOTE ]

If Seattle and Portland really are huge rivals, then you are the worst kind of sports fan.

and Sergio HOLLA.

I love how Sergio is automatically awesome. SERGIO!

[/ QUOTE ]Dude is tons of fun to watch. I fully expect him to be the starter by the halfway point of the season. I guarantee Nate is bigger on him than he is Jack. That is probably why they took Green in the draft as well.

They are pretty big rivals every year come draft lottery time.

oh, forgot about that.

The I-5 rivalry is a bogus one that commentators and writers make up. Portland hates the Lakers. If I had to guess, Seattle mostly hates the Bulls. But even still its nothing really. Come to think of it, Seattle doesn't have a "rival".

This is true.

The only real rivalry is between those Washington fans who have learned to hate Oregon because franky, there is NOTHING easier than hating UO and by extension, all of the OREGON BASTARDS~! out there.

Still, it feels a little icky just shifting to the Blazers.

I agree that they currently aren't really rivals at all, but it would be kinda cool if the team stayed in Seattle and a rivalry developed based on both teams becoming awesome in the next few years.

Then I take it back.

I'm from Houston and I'd kill myself before I ever rooted for the Mavs or Spurs.

Dids, it really is fun to hate on UO. I hate those bastards with a passion. Much like the Huskies. It shouldn't be too icky rooting for the Blazers though.

SC, it would be cool, and maybe it will happen. If so, I am not sure which side I would take, but I think its the Blazers.

DD, yeah that is a different story because they are all in the same fricken state.
