Well, I've said I'd never do this, but, here it is.
This is my lifetime Stars graph (I have >200K+ hands at other sites) ![]() That's about a 300K hand downswing. I win!! |

Hey.. its nice to see some regulars posting here.. its awesome to see how variance plays out over the long haul.. and demonstrated by good players too.
Who said poker is a "hard way to make an easy living", they seem to have it spot on. CMAR that is an awesome graph to post.. congrats on sticking you neck out and posting that for us.. (applause) i think seeing so many hands really shows the value of a large sample size. most players on here seem to have hit the doom switch at some stage. I am currently on a break to review things as my roll dropped 15% this month - thank god for bonuses. I really feel for a professional who does not have this option as his family/house/food depends on his poker income. |

This is about half of my lifetime graph. Like I said, I had 2 recognizable >20k BE stretches...never something like 50k+! I would guess about 20% is NL($.25), 40% is NL($.5), and the remaining 40% is NL($1) [with a few thousand NL($2), ($4), and ($6) mixed in...notice the downward spikes]
