Rookies near Leidseplein used to have good rock, but since they closed the bar it's a little empty these days. You could always buy your stuff first then smoke it in a bar which allows you to smoke. There's another place on the Leidseplein called the Rock 'n' Roll Out cafe that allows it and plays the type of music you are looking for.

lolz I was 17 when I first went to a coffe shop in 1999. Had no problem but I was with my uncle.

It depends a bit probably the big coffeeshops will check you for your id, but the smaller ones (and less often checked by the police) will have the sign up, but if you look like 18 they will probably not ask you for your id. But still your friend could get it for you if they do ask for an id, and you can smoke it elsewhere.

Oh and stay away from the nederwiet (more THC in it), unless you want to get completely wasted, but then I could also recommend taking some paddo's (magic mushrooms), would be best to take those back to your hotel room though and use them there.

If you go to Ukraine and don't spend some time in Kiev, you are not a man. The girls from Kiev ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRLS IN THE WORLD, NOT CLOSE. you absolutely have to go. just go to any bar or nightclub, russian girls are easy to hook up with, you just need to speak a foreign language to them and smoke a lot of cigarettes.
