I think the original text is pretty lame. It's an excuse type friend/date excuse. It's say's "I don' have the balls to ask you out for drinks just because I want to. I have to come up with some semi-safe sounding excuse." It's lame.

I'm going to give it one more try d10:

A. She already knows if she wants to have sex with you or not.

B. Why do you want to waste your time going out with some girl if you have no chance?

Come right out and let her know what you are interested in. You can do it tactfully. If she considers you a possible sex partner then she'll still go, otherwise she'll all of a sudden have something else to do.

If it's the later then at least you didn't waste all your time and money on some chick that wants nothing to do with you. Find out now and either sex her or move on.

Some of you guys need to learn how to stop putting yourselves through these torturous mental situations with women.
