A router will only ASSIGN one IP address, but it will still route traffic to the whole subnet. Anyone can assign themselves the IP address they had previously and still get internet. [/ QUOTE ] thanks i didn't know that. I guess if you share internet this might be a good reason to have a static ip for yourself and dynamic for everyone else lol. |
