How FAR have you moved from where you grew up?

400some miles. but still in the same state. hoping to bump that number into four digits as soon as i find someone willing to hire me. Also,I am 23 years old, which i think it relevant to the discussion.

I was born in Chicago and moved to the suburbs at age 11. I currently live about 6 miles from my old suburban niehborhood. I drive past the old high school every day to and from work and on my weekend morning bike rides I often ride past the old house.

But I have lived lots of different places. Some due to 2 tours in the Navy and some not. I have lived in Washington State, San Diego, Houston, Wisconsin and Michigan. I only count places where I had a residence and drivers license. And although primarily stationed on the west coast in my Navy days I spent more time in Norfolk than I would have liked too [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

about 10 miles.

and i'm still on the same streets that i was when i was growing up on a daily basis...

Born in Wyoming. Lived there and Montana and North Dakota before starting grade school. (My Dad and his brothers moved west to work the oil rigs.)

Grew up in a suburb of Minneapolis. Lived in various suburbs there, started my career, got married, had both of my kids.

Moved to the sticks, western Wisconsin thirteen years ago, before my daughter started kindergarten. Have another three years here at least before my son graduates, but want to move within about 45 minutes of the cities then, (about 1-1/2 hours away now.)

So, I'm about 80 miles from where I consider myself having "grown up."

We should consider planning a Twin Cities 2p2 meet up some time. With Mrs. Utah there I'd be assured of not being the only female!

750 USA miles. I grew up in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA area. I now live in Maine, USA. I came to Maine to attend college, liked Maine, and have lived here since. It has been 11 years since I graduated.

Married and moved to Scotland.
We have moved back and now live 3 streets over from where I grew up.
Gotta love it when it comes full circle.

Now living about 45 miles NW in Westchester County, NY.
