I'd go as far to say that at this point this (club draw) is his most likely holding, but it'll cost too much to find that out. |

Acxc assume x is smaller than 9, it's 48% vs 52%. But on the other hand, corkins also knew hero is an "Internet kid", unlike their 1st generations, the kid would go all-in 99% after rasie PF, raise the flop. |

Re: 6max poll WSOP 2500
I originally posted that this is a standard call, but then deleted and now I think it's best just to fold, which may be a smallish mistake but that's okay, because if we call we're gonna be in a really crappy spot because he's leading the turn 100% of the time and there's a ton of cards that are going to make the turn situation even worse and no cards other then two that make it better (and one completes the friggin' flush draw). I'm taking the weak-tight route here, and refusing to play a big pot against a great player with a mediocre hand.

OK, I still think folding is not a big mistake, but this [ QUOTE ]
Ok this hand I had a aggressive image [/ QUOTE ] made me think that with a hand that connected with this flop (KQ, KJ, etc), Hoyt could often go for a flop check-raise. |

Re: 6max poll WSOP 2500
I wouldnt be folding. showin to an aggresive player that your willing just to give up on a k-x-x board to a simple lead out which is expected most of the time is asking for trouble later on in future hands.

[/ QUOTE ] What happened to not making the easy play simply because it makes life less difficult? [/ QUOTE ] Eric, the fact you don't see a difference makes me question my previous statements about your game. We shouldn't run from difficult decisions just because they're difficult, but we also shouldn't welcome them because they're difficult, either. Plus, there is a difference between putting yourself in a difficult but clearly profitable situation and putting yourself in a situation that is pretty much going to be guesswork, not to mention against a pretty good player. There are two keys to this hand. He's leading the flop 100% of the time, and you have pretty much one out to improve. He's either ahead of you already, or has a ton of outs to improve. |
