I know Greg is adored by most of the people on this board and he seems like a nice enough guy but lets be real. If you are considering running for national political office you need to have your numbers straight. I can understand if he is spouting off what he believes is the GNP of Fiji and is off by say, 90%, but for something as hot button as gun control he should have a better read on the membership of the NRA before saying anything on national TV. Using the excuse that someone gave you the number may be true but we don't like our politicians (or potential candidates) pushing it off on someone else.

A quick aside -- see what 4,000,000 members will get you in Washington? 35,000,000 in the AARP. I hope the PPA knows the numbers they need to be an agent of change.

Why do u want a gun in your home? U think u are balla with gun in your house? I think it's pretty stupid to have a small arsenal of handguns at home. And than all you Rednecks say but it is in the Constitution, well that has been made about 330 years ago and it was a little bit more unsafe around those time. You know how some people look down on you for playing poker, and no matter what you say they still think you're a filthy degenerate and it's not a skill game? that's true but guns are invented to make it easier to kill people, the goal of poker is to win some money, not to kill people. I think that's kind of a big difference
