Re: 86ing a player
[ QUOTE ]
I'm now begining to guess that no one here knows. There's also an ethic here that I find odd, honor amongst thieves. [/ QUOTE ] Ethics: a system of moral principles governing the appropriate conduct for a person or group Gamblers are not theives (i'm surprised more people here aren't offended by that claim). The game is an agreed upon construct with willing participants. There are internal ethics within this game. Stepping outside of the game and using legal threats to gain an advantage in the game is unethical. It is not you're game, it is their game and you agreed to play it on their terms. Personally, i would never enter a game with such a prohibitive rake (another point that makes me think you are a donkey). sidenote, i'd imagine you're the type of player that discusses their hand while in a multi-way pot and who then tries to slow roll at the end. |

Re: 86ing a player
I don't know which is the worst:
1.) arguing with an obvious flaming troll 2.) using the phrase "86ed" not a few, but many times 3.) using poker analogies to describe your "situation" 4.) me wasting my time typing this I think you all have been mentally rick-rolled. -ZEN |

Re: 86ing a player
absolutely certain here that you should go to the guy in charge and threaten to rat him out if he doesn't reduce the rake when you play. I'm sure he's going to be scared to death of this threat, and will take you 100% seriously and immediately lower his rake. I think that's the smartest thing you could do. These type of people generally respond well to threats and I think you'll have them eating out of your hand.
