I think once we have 100 we'll have an accurate picture of how America feels.

This has to be a joke. The 2+2 politics forum isn't the least bit representative of the American political landscape.
You could get 5,000 votes and it wouldn't be representative of squat.

[/ QUOTE ]

You are obviously much smarter than us.

Apparently not.

I would have expected a little more on the MIHOP side, but MIHOP and LIHOP don't really matter in how we judge the state; because in both cases we understand that the state is lying through it's teeth when it claims to protect people, when in reality they do the exact opposite.

[/ QUOTE ]
The exact opposite? So they're bombing America? And please explain to me how no terrorist attacks in four years, despite the US's inflammatory foreign policies, is doing the "exact opposite" of protecting us??

[/ QUOTE ]

Making it happen on purpose or letting it happen on purpose is the opposite of protecting people. DUCY?

The same applies to foreign policy. Starting wars of aggression is the opposite of defense.

Still a pretty amazing poll result. 85% of the voters of this poll disagree with the American foreign policy; of whom 40% believe it's a scam.

A large part of that 40% probably are libertarians who understand that it's not the people who are to blame, but the system and the incentive structures.

Nielso,

Will you ever respond to the replies in the 9/11 thread you made in SMP, or is it your policy to ignore people who prove you wrong and continue spouting off obvious falsehoods

Considering maybe 90% of Americans are extremly stupid...And maybe that number is slightly lower for this forum, I'll admit, the amount of smart people vs. dumb people in here isn't nearly as bad as in the country. So maybe 60% of the people at this forum are extremly stupid, and that's lowballing it, why does it matter?

My scientific pole shows only 19% of Americans want to put a boot in someone's ass. We have become a bunch of Euros. Man purses and Smart cars for everyone!
