Doing it by chip count is more than fair, and probably more than he deserves (judging from his chat).

If his story is even half true, he probably decided to gamble with his friends money for killer returns.

guys its pretty obvious that he registered simply for the thrill of being registered in a 5k sng. He might of even wanted to take a screen shot to show his friends.

Aside from that ihaditall was more than fair

Players such as Dr. Fells and ThePabloShow called me a lowlife for not allowing for a full cancel. That's absurd. It's not my fault, and I feel I was completely fair in allowing for a chip breakdown. Does anyone else think I'm not being fair. Apparently this is a $22 hu sng type guy who accidentally registered? Who accidentally registers for a $5600? Also, the guy is probably lying about holding $ for someone. I think he was angle shooting here.

Dude this is not your fault, he even said he was registered for 20 seconds. He wanted to look like a baller, and it cost him 1600. Lesson learned. He didn't even necessarily deserve the chip chop.

You think the baller would have insisted on just getting his money back if he were up in chips?

If it was truly an accident then yes, of course. If he was angleshooting somehow than I suppose not. But really if you're able to play $5600 HU sit and go's then what's $1300? If it were me i'd give the guy his [censored] money back and be done with it, no reason to be a prick about it. You'd want the same done for you in similar circumstances.

Absolutely no way I give him his money back. Where do you draw the line? He was regged for 20 seconds, he said so himself. If it was an accident, did it take him more than 20 seconds to hit unregister? Give me a break. He's lucky to get what he got.

I'd give him his money back, but then again i'm a sucker for a sob story.

I've done things like send back partial pots for obvious misclicks and disconnections.

Still, the stuff about it not being his money, plus a couple other things he said, made it seem fishy and a possible angle shoot.

It's an interesting situation.
