Yet I still put a lot of credence on the views of the pros as far as who the best players are- and many of them think Antonius and Ivey are the best, or so I've read.

[/ QUOTE ]
Can we really consider Ivey the best player anymore? To me it seems he doesn't have the patience for most of the tournaments and would rather go gamble on golf than play poker.

My take is that I think online poker is a purer meritocracy than "real world" poker, where the top guys' bankrolls are padded by huge endorsement deals. Plus, a lot of the top guys made huge scores in tournaments like the WSOP where, as Jamie Gold showed, luck plays a huge role.

[/ QUOTE ]

Umm no, Jamie Gold won the biggest tournament ever because he's the best player ever. Isn't this obvious?

Some people are competitive and like a challenge. I know money is how we keep score but it's not always about the money.

How much actual teaching does he do on cardrunners? What comes with the videos he has on the site?

[/ QUOTE ]

His teachings are his videos. I believe he does 1 a month and they are usually very good.

Aba's videos are worth the price alone.
