Its kind of funny how she is having dinner with these poker celebs after the fact that she is being mentored by you

Coincidence? If they knew any better than she wouldn't, but I'm sure the fact they see her being mentored by D. Slongsky in the background doesn't hurt

Thats not a story.

Thats barely an intro to a story.

Or its a joke told wrong - A nun, Ozzy Osborne, Jesus and Satan walk into a bar on happy hour, imaigne the hilarity that would ensue in such a situation.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually it is relevant. Because it illustrates the fact that among the poker community as a whole, Brandi is regarded differently than this forum regards her.

[/ QUOTE ]

The 5 other players that she broke bread with represent "the poker community as a whole"? Come on. Besides, no one knows the details of them eating together. It easily could have been them sitting there and Brandi walking up and inviting herself to join them. No one is going to begrudge you getting some young ass, but don't insult us with BS like this.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wasn't claiming that the dinner was good evidence of my point. It just illustrates what I know as a fact. The poker players at the Rio generally like her and she is in no way a pariah. Even Newhizzle didn't really badmouth her to me when he could have. In fact the only negative comment I received was Chantel telling me I was about to lose my place in history. Sort of like Richard Nixon.

A Priest, a Rabbi and a Sheikh walk into a bar. The bartender says: What is this, a joke?

How do you know this? Do they come up to you and tell you they like her? I doubt that. My guess is because you see people be nice to her. Isn't being extra nice to the fish standard? I'm sure I'd be nice to her too as he calls off all her chips with KJo, even though I have a less than favorable opinion of her.

People being nice to pretty girls they don't respect is nothing new.

It amazes me how many people don't realize that I know what I'm doing.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think you're confusing this with our not caring.

Brandi's major value on these forums is her entertainment value. Your involvement with her jacks that value up immensely.

But we really couldn't give a damn about your project to edumacate the pretty young donk.

That's an interesting analogy, since I was thinking the same thing about Brandi's repeated "I am not a crook (or a whore or white trash)" protestations.

By the way, I wouldn't burn any bridges with Chantel if I were you, David. You may need her as your new "poker daughter" when Brandi's fifteen minutes has run it's course, which should be any minute now.

You point to this as evidence that Brandi is a good person when in fact this is probably nothing more than Newhouse showing a little class and taking the high road.
