Re: How do i exploit this guy?

[ QUOTE ] Wait for solid openers... [/ QUOTE ] bleh, there has to be a better way to beat these guys than to be a nit. we have a player who is getting in there with weak holdings against me and is willing to play massive pots...that has got to be exploitable. [/ QUOTE ] don't play massive pots with them without a solid hand. Let them bet some of your solid hands for you, i.e. add in some slow playing into the mix. If they are playing very marginal hands, then be ready to call down light, i.e. 2nd, 3rd, maybe even bottom pair at times. I think the best advice is to just keep the pots smaller unless you have a hand. Don't blow up your pots with marginal holdings and air, i.e. make smaller bets and bluff less. |

Re: How do i exploit this guy?
one tactic someone i know does with these stats is to bet/raise less often on the flop, and more on the turn and river.
44/33 stats doesn't flop many good hands. |

Re: How do i exploit this guy?
this is not a betting war. if you somehow manage to turn your opponents into something that never folds to you you just have to start going at it with real hands. This river shove might work on this hand but how many times do you think you can do this especially if your button raise always contains a hand like k2s?

Re: How do i exploit this guy?
I dont remember if i was villain in this hand but it sounds like me. If it was me I probably typed "ur dead" and called with 3rd pair or something
it sounds like you need to 3 bet less OOP and size your bets better postflop so you can have more control over building the pot when it matters |
