Photoc,
I must say this in all honesty, I WAS THE BEST DAMN NON PAID HOST PH(Alladin) ROOM EVER HAD.
Heck, I still have people who see me around and come by to say hi. A few have asked if I could help them get things GOING and FUN for them at the "V"...... Boy, could you imagine THE DON working the "V" like I did for Nick and Edna. WOOO HOOOOOOOO

He played 60/120 games with us. A few mixed games and a few No-limit games.
Talking to him just before it came to an end I was told by DN, he had to cut the deal because THE GAME would not come over and play. He wanted to play that limit.

but since the Wynn deal ended he played in the big game less than a handful of times. The excuse never matched the reality with DN's story.

He got pwned. When he lost $1M in a day he had a reality check. He was pretty upfront about it in his blog. Don't recall and I'm not gonna dig for it, but I think he claimed he was still a net winner in that game, but dropping $1M in a day was just more than he could stomach.

I'm no DN fanboy, but I appreciated his candor when he explained all this in the blog entry.

BAV,
your right, that was his last sit in that game.
He also said he was a net winner, but it was in part to the PROPS he hit.
He was up front with it.

The staff was pretty nice to me. The buffet sucked for 25 bucks or whatever it was. The Starbucks was fast and freiendly. I even had the server going to get em for me.

One of the very best buffets in Vegas if you ask me, at least in the top three for the price.

this place is scary. its very disorientating inside and the waitresses dress like streetwalkers (no judgement made here)

poker room friendly, althought the wooden oval around the felt was cumbersome.

Ive only had the buffet once and it was last month. It was not of the same caliber that so many have raved about, it kinda sucked.
