no you can not. Guitar hero I and II won't play on ps3.

360 is the way to go. Just this summer some big names are dropping like Mass Effect, Forza 2, Shadow Run, Bio Shock, Blue Dragon and then Halo 3 at the end of September. The PS3 can't touch those games.

the novelty of the wii has worn off quickly for me, this is based off of playing a lot of tiger woods 07, zelda, and wii sports...xbox 360 is the best system out right now unless you have kids, then get the wii

For me its kind of like those computer systems from the future that you see in movies, where they are standing in front of huge clear glass screens moving icons around with their arms and having to do this cool kung fu motion to start up MS WORD 6230...its cool at first, but imagine having to do that everytime. Id be like seriously, jesus christ, cant I just say "computer ms word" of course voice commands will still probably suck in the future. Anyway, regardless, when you can do the exact same stuff with a flick of the wrist on a controller or a mouse, I see no point in having to do Dance Dance Revolution to get your programs up and running, or to have to play game. If I want pilates, Ill go do pilates. which is of course, why I have no bought a Wii, it would probably piss me off to no end.

i would say get a 360 but honestly i would say getting neither is the best choice of all.

there really havent been any great video games for any system since halo 1. maybe halo 3 will change that but for now it seems like guitar hero (and the usual sports games aka madden) are the only decent games of the past few years.

I couldn't disagree more, have you played Gears of War??? Aside from the few glitches it's probably one of the best shooters ever created, blows all the FPS games out of the water and it's not even close.
