so a course designed for golf car use should not have them? explain.

[/ QUOTE ]no, they shouldn't be designed that way in the first place. Golf is a sport designed to be walked, if you can't walk, then you shouldn't be playing.

yeah, we get it. done yet? go troll bbv4tards or something.

Dumbest thing I've read today. Give it up man, you're living in the past.

[/ QUOTE ]So you feel that designers shouldnt have to make courses that you can actually walk round then? That is simply a bizarre statement. I've used a buggy once, and it was a hopeless way to play golf, I'll never do it again. This ridiculous contraption will just make non-walkers more common, ban it before it gets going.

It is too late in the US. Too entrenched. So many people never walk a course. Fortunately a few new courses are banning carts, but that is rare. The cart went from a scam to make money to being considered a normal piece of equipment. The cart path is seen as normal, rather than a monstrosity that hurts the look of the course and interferes with play. But hey, who doesn't want to play 5 hour rounds on freeways?

Golf is really more of a task for you guys rather then relaxing fun isn't it?

That is a shame.

[/ QUOTE ]Give me strength. It's not relaxing playing 5 hour rounds behind guys zig-zaging their way round the course in pairs in a small car. So yes it is a shame, we can't actually get to play golf rather than go go-karting. Luckily it's fairly rare in the UK at the moment, but we know that what America does, we eventually have to suffer too.

[/ QUOTE ]Sorry about not agreeing with you, I thought this thread was entitled "How do you feel about this... "

I guess it should have said "look how great this is, if you don't think so then don't post?"

I find golf very fun and relaxing. When I walk. When the round takes no more than 3.5 hours. I do not find it particularly fun to be on a course jammed with carts that takes forever to play. I played some resort golf last weekend. It was a mandatory cart place of course. Plenty of cart paths. So we could have so much fun. The 5 hours behind buffoons driving in circles was great fun. yes very relaxing. It sure is fun and relaxing to wait for the beer cart to bring a drop of relief to the slog. Nothing more relaxing than waiting on every hole. I find waiting a very fun and relaxing endeavor.

Hmmm, so youd rather have them being slow walking, or better yet, sacrificing their enjoyment for yours. Most people use a cart as a means of transportation to allow them to enjoy the game more, not as the transportation.
