Default Re: Friend came clean about gambling problem last night...I\'m worried

If I found myself in this situation I would do the following:

1. Find number for GA - The national hotline is 888-GA-HELPS

2. Call and find out when and where the next meeting is in your city.

3. Stay with my friend until it was time for that meeting and take him to it, staying there for support.

His confession is a cry for help.

He's young so make sure he knows $60K debt isn't the end of the world and he can dig his way out if he gets on the right path.
