PB, how many outs to the nuts would you say I have on the flop? [/ QUOTE ] if in this hand I would assume this flop is getting capped 100% ... so we will be paying 4sb for a 21sb pot (5.25:1) so we need about 7 outs ... I don't really see them King ... almost worthless Queen ... better than a King - but still iffy the Ace and Nine must be discounted ... in total i would give about 4-6 outs on this flop ... and you wont be able to call the turn if you don't hit and if you do hit you aren't getting paid off (you'll split with anything that continues to bet ... and you could be up against a lot of redraws) my main concern is that will be putting in way too much coin in this pot and still have a large chance to lose. |

Re: i fold tp + oesd, is okay?
i agree the outs are somewhat dirty and it's possible some aces are out there (nines i don't think so) but i still am getting odds to call for my oesd, each time, i think?
obv when the turn came i was 101% sure someone was full so it was an easy fold. |

[/ QUOTE ] Even if you hit your draw on the turn, there are so many re-draws that I can't see how it is good to stick around to see it. Any pairing of the board is likely to give someone a full house on the river, which is what happened in this case on the turn. Are you calling a river bet if you hit your straight on the turn, but the board pairs on the river? I would probably have played the flop the same way that you did in the heat of battle but, when you look at it, it's pretty iffy to stay in the hand. |
