...but how internet popularity transfers over to the real world hasn't really been seen in something like this. I am interested to see what happens.

Just to clarify: Ron Paul is personally 100% pro-life, but he believes that the issue is within the states' jurisdiction, and thus would not seek to overturn Roe V. Wade, is that right?

He believes it's a state issue and so he would like to have RvW overturned.

Is it still too early to declare to massive power of the internet?

I figured Dean's surge would allow such but since he got his ass handed to him and the BAJILLIONS of new registrations didn't do [censored] for the 04 elections, i'm still wondering if we need a few more years for internet traffic to be indicative of reality.

Its hard to say.. the surge in interest in Dean came from a perception that he was different than the rest of the candidates. Once the general public found out that he was just another communist douche his fate was sealed.

Paul is not Dean. The day he panders or obfuscates i will personally lick the choad of the entire DNC

Don't get carried away. I'll be impressed when he polls above 5% or half the people in this thread who say they love him actually man a phone bank or pass out flyers.

[/ QUOTE ]

This isn't a national poll or anything, but his odds on Sportsbook.com are dropping like a rock.

Like my grandpa always said, "Gamblers know politics".

Information markets predict the presidential winner better than any pundit ever does. I know there's evidence out there to support that but I've gotta get my mind back on class.

Wait, would his odds be dropping or rising?

I know nothing about sports betting.

Note that his odds are still 100 to 1 against.
I wouldn't bet on him at that price, although I might at 200 to 1.
