[ QUOTE ] ya where do you guys get this stuff do you have a friend that has ADD or something? [/ QUOTE ] I've been asking my friends if they know anyone with ADD, so far no luck. Im sure a drug dealer would be able to hook you up, but I'm not keen to buy anything in tablet from of a dealer. [/ QUOTE ] haha, do you think a dealer's going to give you ecstacy and charge you for adderall or something? wtf |

I really can't believe how many students are taking drugs to help them study. [/ QUOTE ] I know a lot of my friends that take drugs to help them study or take a test, it's sort of scary. Me? I just failed everything my first time through college. I just work my ass off this second time through. College is just as much about time management as it is actual learning. |

Bear in mind that knowing the course material is irrelevant. What counts is being able to answer the exam.
First, spend a significant amount of time reviewing the papers for the last few years. Identify themes and questions that repeat often. Select a set of these 'high percentage' questions that is slightly larger than the number you must answer and either prepare sample answers/outlines or go through the methods involved. If time permits give a quick read of the textbook for background knowledge. At university I barely ever studied for more than 2 days for an exam, attended less than 10% of my lectures and pulled down a first. It's all about study technique and predicting questions. (Hint for uni: get the freaking tutorials for verily they shall turn up on the exam.) |

hey all, im 16 (i know, not a student and ur age)and have exams in about 8 subjects in just less than two weeks. im from uk so im not sure what the equivalent exams are in US at 16. anyways, what are ur best cramming tips? is it better to work all night or get some sleep etc? subjects are: history (cold war), geography, sciences, maths (around 18 yo level), and english literature (usual books) Thanks a lot, much appreciated. [/ QUOTE ] 2 weeks should be fine if you spend a [censored] of time revising. GCSEs right? Just cram the [censored] that really needs to be learned. Do loads of past papers. For some modules at A level in Physics and Biology, I just did 7 or so past papers the night before the exam. I got 100% in that Biology exam. For Maths (Additional Maths?) past papers are the only way to go. If you don't do lots of past papers it will really hurt you. |
