Only read OP, but my condolences. If it makes you feel any better my Mom and Aunt, and my half-brothers' Mom have all survived breast cancer (6 years, 6 years and 3 years out respectively). Keep your thoughts positive and hopefully things work out for the best, it is a very treatable form of cancer these days.

normally I say something mean to threads like this, but my mom has had breast cancer 4 times and this 4th time it spread to her bones including her spine, shoulder and arm. She has fought it off very well and has improved greatly over the past year. She can never get it cured, but can hope it goes into remission for a long period of time and it does truly suck for this to happen to anyone who is very close to you.

GL bigfoot, my heart would be broken if my mom went through something like this.

Best of luck man. I wish you all the best.

As a man who has 4 loved ones afflicted with cancer currently, I will say that breast cancer is pretty treatable. My best wishes for your mother and your family. You will make it thru this.

In 1984 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. The doctors told her she wouldn't live long enough to see me or my brother graduate high school. I graduated in 1990 and my brother graduated in 1986. She was present at both and she's still living today. Doctors can be idiots some times.

Good luck and I hope she doesn't give up the fight.
