Re: QQ laydown with all unders on the flop
[ QUOTE ]
I think it's OK to call the flop 2 and fold for 2 more, or see what kind of action the turn brings. Ppl suggesting we 3-bet here: they both can't have AK often enough to get value from them. [/ QUOTE ] let me FMP |

Re: QQ laydown with all unders on the flop
I think you have SB beat a whole lot. Unless he is v good, his play is consistant with something like 99. The BB is the wild card and I would never lay down in a higher limit game. I don't know enough about the lower limit games anymore to comment but it could range anywhere from good to marginally bad.
Edit: I wouldn't re-raise the flop unless both players were terribly LAGish |

Re: QQ laydown with all unders on the flop
The problem is that that flop is just too, too ugly. If it were even T43, the other two guys would have to slow down eventually for fear you flopped a set. But these dudes aren't going to slow down until the turn, and even then they might not.
If you call now, you're almost certainly going to have to fold to two more later. if you three-ball it nobody with AA or KK is going to back off and you'll have to fold the turn if your miracle Q doesn't come, which would suck (and you still wouldn't be out of the woods, as AA has wheel draw outs in addition to overset outs, and it will have plenty of overlay to chase it). So you might as well fold now and save yourself a BB. If neither one of them have QQ beat, then get on their left and don't leave that table until you've taken all their mobnies. |

Yeah, I was thinking cold call on the flop.

Re: QQ laydown with all unders on the flop
I don't like this idea of cold-calling. I think the chance of getting 3-bet by SB is pretty high.
The other thing I'm worride about here, is you are either going to be stuck in a situation of making an overcall on the river, or having someone to act behind you on the river. |
