Definitely Kid A for me. You can make arguments for a couple others, but I've liked Kid A the best since maybe a month after it came out.

i havent really listened to much radiohead besides OK Computer, which i think is awesome. However, after reading these replies im going to get Kid A and hail to the thief asap. sounds like i should be in for some pretty sweet listening

be warned, Kid A and hail to the thief both progress towards abstract music more so than OK computer. i know a lot of people who first hated Kid A because they didn't "get it" but grew in love with it as they listened to it more. don't get turned off by it and dump it in your recycling bin. give it a chance and learn to love the bizarreness that is Kid A.

This is the common justification; you just don't get it yet combined with a healthy does of hipster elitism which inevitably is just a bizzare sense to be somewhat different but the same.

Yeah sure, OK Computer FTW. They peaked there and frankly fell off a cliff.

It is beyond asinine to say that they fell off a cliff.

You guys are insane. Kid A, Amnesiac, and Pablo Honey are significantly worse than what Radiohead did on OK Computer and The Bends... and to a lesser degree, Hail to the Thief.

I'm not saying they're bad -- they're all very good albums, but OK Comp/Bends are in another category. Between those two... I'll go with Bends.

What means this?

Oh, and I totally agree about the love for The Bends...awesome album. For me that and Ok Computer are 1A and 1B.

Edit: Actually I change my vote. After listening to The Bends on my IPOD just now, I think thats the best.

A tougher question imo is to list your favorite songs of theirs. I'd say mine are(in no particular order):

Let Down
Just
Talk Show Host
My Iron Lung

If you've heard all of these and you don't think OK Computer is the best, there's probably something wrong with you as a person. That said, some of the others are truly great.
